The check-in process went smoothly. I arrived about an hour before check-in time, and the reception gladly held my two bags as I did some sightseeing. The person at check-in spoke some English, which was helpful. They were also helpful when I needed to use the iron/ironing board. For a Japanese hotel, the room was somewhat spacious. The bed was comfortable to me. I was there during mid-December, and while it was cold out, the room temperature was fine by me. The bathroom and shower were okay. My expectations for a 2-3 star hotel were met, as I wasn't expecting the Ritz Carlton. From some previous reviews complaining about smoke smell in a non-smoking room, I did not notice this at all. It's an issue in Japan in general, but it seemed the whole fifth floor was non-smoking. Overall, the room was adequately clean. I did not have the breakfast, which I've seen good reviews about. Location (walking): 5mins to Kokubuncho nightlife and restaurants 5-10mins to shopping 20-30mins to Sendai Castle and/or Zuihoden 20mins to Sendai Station Less than 5mins to Metro station 1min to Ramen Jiro (famous Tokyo ramen chain) Good location overall if you don't need to be right by Sendai Station

You get what you payfor. all the information was very straight forward and no fuss getting in at late hours. we had a 2 person room, which included a desk and tv. The Wifi was very well in our room so we did not need to miss important online events. Shower and simple toiletries were included as well extra + The free coffee in the lobby was a godsend for a caffeinated person like me.

The location was very good, I was close to many of the different places that I intended to visit but it was slightly off the main road so it was nice and quiet. The staff were very friendly and explained everything to me, and the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I also felt like I had a decent amount of space compared to some other hotels in Japan.

The location was very convenient for us. There is a laundry in the hotel that costs like peanuts. The restaurant serves simple but tasty breakfast, enough to stay energetic till dinner :) The bathrooms are small and in plastic but clean.

Jakub

Friendly staff, clean rooms, always had fresh towels, stores were close by, close to a subway station, restaurants nearby. Really great.
